POLICE NAB 2 NOTORIOUS HEMP DEALERS, RECOVER 2 MOTORCYCLES IN ADAMAWA STATE


 

In their effort towards combating crime in and around Adamawa, the Operatives of the Police Command attached to Toungo Divisional headquarters (DPO) in Toungo Local Government Area have arrested 2 notorious Cannabis Sativa (Wui-wui) dealers.

The operatives recovered large quantity of indian hemp and 2 motorcycles from the suspects.

The accused persons include; Ibrahim Audu, 31years old and Alkasim Musa, 32 years old and both reside in Ganye town, in Ganye Local Government Area.

A statement by the spokesman of the command, DSP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, and made available to NEWS PLATFORM on Wednesday, said that the suspects were apprehended on the 16th August, 2021.

DSP Nguroje added that both dealers were smuggling large cache of carnabis into the state through Dakalaji,Taraba border,Kiri District in Toungo LGA.
