NDLEA Raids Notorious Lagos Drug Joints, Arrests Fake Police Officer, Soldier, Corps Member and 663 others

A fake police officer and a soldier suspected to be fake also as well as a youth corps member are among 663 drug traffickers and users arrested when operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency raided notorious drug joints in Lagos, Abuja, Benue and other parts of the country during which assorted illicit drugs weighing over 153, 256.876 kilograms were either destroyed or seized in the past week. In Lagos, the notorious drug haven, Akala in Mushin area of the state was on Friday 15th October raided by a combined team of 70 NDLEA operatives and 30 soldiers in a joint operation code named ' Operation Still Waters.' No less that 27 suspects were arrested while various drugs such as Cocaine, Heroin, Tramadol, Rohypnol and Cannabis, with a cumulative weight of 2,463.876 Kg were seized. WITCHCRAFT: WHO KILLS, THE ACTORS OR THE ACT

  Of recent the adamawa state police command has paraded 1,184 suspects arrested for various offences. Among the suspects were 21 who were arrested at Dason watiye village of Fufore local government area of Adamawa state for killing 7 people whom they believed were practicing    witchcraft. All that were killed were above 50 years, surprisingly two of the victims suffered more in hands of their biological sons.   The suspected witches were beaten to dead by angry youth of the community after series of timely deaths falling on their youth and well to do in the community. As a result prevent prayers and fasting were observed and a pointer shows that act witchcraft is genesis of mysterious deaths suffered by the community. EFCC Arrests 16 Internet Fraud Suspects in Enugu

Operatives of the Enugu Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC have arrested 16 suspected internet fraudsters in three separate sting operations in the Monarch area, New Haven Extension and Castle Majestic Hotel, Ogui Road, Enugu. The suspects were arrested following verified intelligence on their alleged involvement in internet-related fraud activities. Part of the intelligence indicated that suspected internet fraudsters were operating from Castle Majestic Hotel, Enugu. Based on the intelligence, and weeks of surveillance, a search warrant was executed on the facility on Thursday September 16, 2021. In the course of the operation, the operatives encountered a group that identified themselves as members of the National Association of Nigerian students, NANS and Ohaneze Ndi Igbo Youth wing. NDLEA storms Edo Forests, Destroys Hectares of Drug Farms; Intercepts Cocaine, Heroin Going to Canada, Australia

  Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, continued their nationwide offensive action against drug traffickers in the past week, seizing hundreds of kilograms of illicit substances at the airports, courier firms, hideouts and destroying hectares of cannabis farms in the remote forests. Attempts by a female passenger, Isesele Obehi and one Emmanuel Chibuzor Omebere to export illicit drugs to Europe through the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, MMIA, Lagos and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja were thwarted by narcotic officers who arrested them shortly before they boarded their flights. While Isesele was nabbed on Saturday 11th September, 2021 during outward clearance of Ethiopian Airline flight at Gate B departure hall of the Lagos airport on her way to Milan, Italy with three hundred and twelve (312) sachets of Tramadol, weighing 1.5kg, concealed in crayfish and dried vegetables, Chibuzor was equally caught with 137.45 grams of the same drug...

Followers of the popular Hausa series LABARINA showing on the famous Arewa 24 have recently been bombarded with what some described as degrading   journalism profession where one of the producers of the series Who also featured as Sarkin Waka directed his aid to give a journalist a fare after an interview. His action was condemned by many. After the show of the episode 11 of season 3 of the series attacks and counter attacks dominated the air all over the Hausa speaking areas and some journalists even threaten to sue the producers of the series for deformation of character.
